LarryVille Gardens LLC — Local services in Town of Spring Prairie

Today was the first time I've gone to Larryville Gardens. It was delightful! I met Farmer Morgan in the shop and she invited me and another shopper into the greenhouse where many veggies were growing. She shared quite a lot of info about where the items in their shop are sourced. It was so interesting. I purchased fresh bread and ground beef for dinner (chili); carrots and broccoli for Thanksgiving; and two pot pies (one for a meal train gift and the other for Thanksgiving break when our kids are home from college). I am unable to comment on the produce. During my first visit to the store, I met the owner, who was initially courteous but soon began to espouse hateful ideologies towards specific ethnic groups. I departed without entering the store. As a descendant of immigrants and a veteran of the Army, I will not patronize establishments that promote...

The farm is beautiful and the vegetables grown here are of the highest quality. I highly reccomend stopping by the farm, Michelle has a lot going on including pop-up markets, wood fired pizza nights, farm to table dinners and has accessible produce for all hours of the day!
