Update from 2025: I have brewed the coffee now... Just finished it after it sat in the freezer (in a freezer bag) for a year or so, and it was phenomenal! It made it the best cup of coffee! I bought the Nutty Professor, and I will be back to buy more this summer! So good!! (Hopefully they will have samples for me by the time I come in August, so I can try before I buy, and add a couple other flavors in addition to the Nutty Professor!) I highly recommend!

Original post from 2023: Very nice store and delightful-smelling coffee... I have yet to brew it but will update when I do. We met one of the owners, and she was wonderful! One of the items we bought was marked down and there was a mistake on the transaction, but neither of us noticed until after it had been processed but she quickly fixed it. It is a very cute, unique, little shop and they roast the coffee right there! There is something for everyone! Sweatshirts, toys, coffee, liquor, wines, home decor, kitchenware, and other fun knick-knack type items! It was a fun stop! I highly recommend visiting and supporting this...

The Outpost is THE cutest little hidden gem in Spooner. This is a must stop to check out the selection of gifts, northern specialty treats and adult beverages. But I really came here to say RUN, do not walk to their coffee wall. The variety of flavor options is outstanding! If you’re looking for a recommendation, the Macadamia Nut is to die for! The Salted Caramel is another favorite, and if you’re not much for flavored you won’t go wrong with The Outpost Blend. No coffee grinder at home? No problem, they’ll kindly do it when you check out. Northwoods-themed shop full of fun things to gift to others or yourself. They roast coffee on site and have a whole wall of fresh whole beans that they can grind for you if you need. And they always have a coffee brewed to sip as you shop. Besides unflavored coffee, they have a ton of super unique flavors (right now I'm sipping on their spicy fudge...chocolate with cayenne!).
