It's always nice to come to the drive in every couple years when we drive to NY to see the relatives all the way from Iowa.. But the service this year was.. very.. not..I would say thumbs down.

The high school kids didn't appear to know what they were doing. The fries n hot dog was actually cold, Even though they were supposedly fresh into the warmer.. we got the FM radio.. but no one explained that the lobby would be closed at a certain time n where to go to return the radio and get driver's license back.. we walked around knocking on doors etc.. then finally after the drive in was almost cleared out by 0130 am.. did we get approached n informed that he always stands in front of the house.. in the dark.. to trade driver's license for fm radios... Um. Okay. We walked around the entire building in the dark.. n saw no one collecting the radios. .. Never had a bad experience before, but this trip the service was...meh.. But the drive in movie double...

We went to this drive in last night to see a movie and the FM playback sucks, you could not enjoy the movie with all the static, they pack way too many people into a really small space. you could not get out of your vehicle without hitting your door on the car next to you. Most of the people set up camp and you cannot walk to the bathroom with walking though their camps.

we also had a situation where the chain smoking people that were next to us setup their kids' camp directly in front of our car and then had the audacity to knock on my window and ask me turn turn my car off while I was charging my battery back up because her kids could not hear the movie!

Bottom line if you are going to the drive inn with your kids to play and socialize with people this is the place. If you are going to actually watch a movie, go...

Ok, so the drive-in was supposed to start at 8:30 but it’s 9:30 and there’s still stupid cars parking, the freaking movie hasn’t started yet either. They ask us to move and we were comfortable but they just ask. A few cars came by, looked at the spot, and continued to move on to a different spot. A little later, at 9:36, the ads started but I can barely see the tv screen because it’s not too bright. If the movie would’ve started on time, it’d be over by now (11:21 currently) Both movies would’ve been done by now but they just had to wait for more people until they started it. This is very stupid and I wish this would’ve started a lot more sooner cuz my legs are very sore. They should go out of business and get a better person to do a drive-in that isn’t late to...

Lady infront of us kept blinding us with her headlights and blocked a huge chunk of the screen with her hatch back through all of the first movie. She left with her kids and we were able to move into her spot for the second film. Place was packed, you have to get there early to secure a good spot. Concession stand and bathroom lines were super long, but they moved quickly. Only a couple stalls in the restroom. They did keep up on cleaning and stocking toilet paper. I was worried they would run out.

I really enjoyed this place. I was traveling from Utica, which is quite a bit of a hike (they got rid of our Rome Drive In years ago) but it was worth the distance. It was spacious. Plenty of room to park your car and watch without feeling like you are on top of the other patrons. The kids ran around and played before the movies began. Staff was friendly. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend.

A perfectly captured experience of a great American keepsake. This nostalgic drive in has an unaltered, perfectly presented atmosphere, paired with modern projection technology to deliver an intimate presentation for you and your family to enjoy for the years to come.
