Storage Sense - Endicott — Local services in Town of Union

Employees at Glendale are always kind and helpful. The units and grounds are clean and maintained. Even alone you can go there safely any time access is open.

Like everything, the cost is increasing steadily sadly. I have stored here since Sept 2018 everything from papers, books, seasonal items and antiques and have been very pleased.

Increased humidity is a problem in the past year so just make sure things are stored in plastic well sealed bins.Dont use cardboard boxes as they will collect moisture, smell and cave in if stacked, ruining what's in them. I used damp rid products & bins of kitty litter to absorb moisture right up til a year ago which helped. I regret not using them around my unit in the last year because the humidity is not always low enough to keep mold & smell out.

But it's cool in the summer & winter extremes and you don't have to worry about candles melting in summer months like with an outside unit.

Updated 2025: I'm amending my original 5 star review because my experience turned sour. I started here in July of 2022 and am moving out now, May 2025. At an average of $300/month that's $10,200 in storage fees! I had almost everything I own in this unit while I was living with family. This place is NOT climate controlled. So much of my stuff is covered in mold and garbage. I went in today and the floors were wet, it wasn't from cars, because inside my unit the floors were wet. This place does not have proper humidity control. Anything in cardboard is just ruined. Things in plastic totes need to be cleaned because they smell like mold. I've added pictures. For example the wooden spoons were in a sealed cardboard box. The shelf was not wrapped. I'm exploring submitting a claim with my insurance, but I hate that I paid over $10,000 to store my stuff here and it's now trash. I'm a teacher so it's not like I have the cash to replace everything.

BEWARE!!! Our Travel Trailer was broken into and lived in for at least 2 weeks by drug addicts at the Storage Sense Endicott, NY facility totaling out our camper. Yes the travel trailer was locked. Although Storage Sense advertises they have security cameras and a gated access, the facility is far from secure. There are no gates around the perimeter. The only gate there is when you drive into the outside parking area. There are worn paths around the gate from people walking past it. There are also paths from the woods behind the facility into the outside parking storage area. Secure? not in the least! We were told there were security cameras. There are but they are useless. Storage Sense put up outdoor storage units and blocked them to the point that only the top of our travel trailer could be seen by them. Think twice before you store there.
