I had came to Jenna with a bench that I had purchased and wanted redone. I had sent her a picture of the bench in October along with what I had wanted done with it. She had informed me that she could do the job. I had dropped off the bench and paid half down for the services. A couple months goes by and she had contacted me to inform me that she couldn't do the project and stated her concerns. I then asked her if she could have the cushion redone if anything. She had asked me again what it is was that I wanted done with the bench. Since I had already told her in the beginning I thought to myself she must have forgot because she had a lot going on with her company and home life so I had informed her again. I also said that if she feels like she couldn't do it then it was OK and that I would just come pick it up. I didn't want it ruined but she insisted that she could do it. Well now we are in December and she wrote me again and said she couldn't do it. I had said that was okay just refund me the half I already paid and my spouse was going to pick it up. When the bench arrived back to its home, I had noticed that one of the legs was snapped off. I had contacted Jenna to try and resolve the issue and all I got was her accusing me of attacking her and that she was being accused of breaking customers pieces. She didn't offer me any compensation for the damaged bench nor wanted to make the issue right. She then insisted that she could no longer do business with me because of this. Instead of taking accountability for what had happened, she denied every part of what happened to my bench. Not only did I have to wait for months for a broken piece of furniture, I now have to throw it in the garbage because it isn't usable. I think Jenna's pieces that she does is beautiful but very over priced. She takes on too much of a work load I think to get custom pieces done in a timely manner. I also think that her communication with customers when it comes to issues are unprofessional and disrespectful. Every business has problems that arise but Jenna does not handle them professionally. Apparently according to the very professional business response this review had received from the business owner, the husband had picked it up and it broke. Funny how when I was trying to talk to her about this she had denied it ever breaking. What story is it? Just proof that she is a liar and unprofessional. Read moreEach piece I have purchased from Jenna has been beautiful, exactly as pictured and delivered - for free! Her husband even helped my husband move each piece to the room we wanted it in. Trust me, one or two were no easy task!
Not only is she incredible with her creativity - but she is very responsive, and goes above and beyond for her clients.
My daughter decided to climb the dresser we purchased - she managed to destroy the top. I let Jenna know and asked what I could do to repair it…she immediately responded and said she would come to our home (VERY PREGNANT) and repair it for us - FOR FREE! And she did. She even left us paint and paint brushes in case it happened again.
Just to give you an idea of how pregnant she was…she went into labor the next day.
She is kind, her husband is kind and I’m a forever supporter of...
Read moreIf I can rate this shop a zero I would. The owner doesn't take criticism very well and doesn't communicate with customers very well when it comes to issues. This shop takes on more business than they can handle. This shop takes on custom pieces to only strip and paint. When it comes to true antique restoration, this isn't the company to do so. Look somewhere else to bring your pieces because you will not get them back the same way you dropped them off. She is very unprofessional...
