Weeden's Mini Mall — Local services in Town of Vienna

I've been going to this place for many years as I used to live in the area. The previous owners were so nice and I always found great buys and cool items reasonably priced. Yesterday was the 1st time I've been there in a few years. Figured we would check out the holiday open house like we used to. We were actually there for 4 1/2 hrs. I was anticipating a crowd as in previous years, parking was at a premium there were so many people. Not like that at all this year. The people working there were very nice and walked around asking if they could hold your items up front for you like they always do but they went overboard with it. Every corner I turned there was someone asking me again and honestly it was annoying after the first few times. And there was one that kept watching us like a hawk. I realized afterwards that she was watching for shoplifters. However she wasn't very good at it as I felt like she was following me everywhere I went. I had heard that they had been having issues with shoplifters so do I understand but I didn't appreciate it and think she could have been more subtle and respectful of honest patrons. Both bathrooms up front were out of order. And lastly the prices. Some vendors were very reasonable and others were utterly ridiculous with their pricing. Even some of the booths that were giving discounts wasn't enough to justify the prices. I was disappointed. I did spend a few hundred dollars though, just had to really look for bargains. This is a wonderful store for anyone who loves antiques and collectibles. The variety of products, prices, and booths is astounding! There are so many things to look at, I could spend all day here if I’m not careful.

The staff are beyond kind and knowledgeable, their customer service is unmatched! If you get thirsty or hungry there are chilled beverages and unique snacks near the register. Occasionally there will be complementary refreshments provided as well (hot cocoa, samples of baked goods, etc..) They take cash AND card here. Vendor sales are also common, I visit frequently to peruse the discounts.

I cannot recommend this location enough! It is amongst my most favorite antique malls in the Central New York region, I drive over an hour out of my way to come here, it is always worth it and never...

Long story short they didn't greet my daughters or myself when we walked in. We were followed around the whole time we shopped about 2 hours. Then when I noticed the guy following for the 2nd time he asked to bring my items to the counter. I let him then a lady approached me telling me she had a "Brainfart" when writing the price on a coat my daughter found and asked me to make her a offer on the spot... What a joke. We still shopped and bought some stuff but really disappointed about not being treated like...
