We bought double tickets for the trail and house, we waited in line for the trail for over an hour while VIP customers (that pd. $30. per person while we paid $20.) walk past us near the front of the line 3 times after waiting patiently. The Trail walk itself was of medium quality at best. Once done we did not use our tickets for the House part of the Trail of Terror experience because of having no patience to stand for another hour or more in another line. IT was said that the Trail of Terror had been of much better quality in years past but this year being my first I will not be returning unless I hear they improve their quality of how quickly they are able to take each group through. (because there wasn't any pre-set haunts necessary in order to prepare for the next group to walk though the Trail)...unfortunately they must feel they don't have to put a quality show for people to come out due to they have a monopoly effect on the area. As for bringing groups through with spacing, for the time it took to walk through the trail it still would not account for the long wait times in line. FYI, the long wait times for the trail basically ruined how we experienced the trail too.. Please remember, reviews can be used in a constructive manner and meant for compliments and also to help too with improvements for the total experience. So try not to take all low reviews as negatives. We do wish the Trail of Terror all the best and thank you for...
Read moreWe have been to SO MANY haunted houses in the last few years, I’m normally not one to complain(obviously i know this year is different with COVID) but what an unorganized mess! We waited 2 hours for the haunted trail (we understand that this is what you signup for with things like this) but it was not worth the wait. 0 social distancing, 0 guidelines! We were put with another 6 person group (we had 4 of our own) and the actors instructed us to stay with our group(the 6 ahead of us who we did not come with) as we were attempting to maintain our 6 feet??? Horrible experience, I don’t know who gave the good reviews we read before coming here because this was awful. We bought the combo, and didn’t even go on the second attraction because of waiting so long for the first one. Really disappointed. The actors audibly complained to us about having to “scream all night” We gave our tickets away to the house to some young kids waiting in line... not worth waiting another hour, especially for the actors to pause and complain to us (or the security guard hitting her vape while directing people where to go.) We don’t want anything for free- just want people to know what to expect...
Read moreThis is the third Halloween attraction in CNY I've visited this month. I was very excited for this one, but unfortunately, it fell rather flat for me. Unlike other attractions, they make you walk with a big group of strangers -- this would be understandable for the walk in the woods, but it really dragged down the indoor event because we kept having to stop and wait for everyone. The indoor event had some interesting set-ups for sure, but visibility was terrible, even for a haunted house attraction. The walking trail didn't really provide any creative scares and felt repetitive after a while. I have to give this place props for trying something different, but it didn't work for me. I also didn't like the extremely long wait times for the attractions, especially given that it was a very slow evening due to other local events going...
