Badlands Golf Course — Local services in Town of Warren

Wonderful course! Here is the problem we had, and the reason for only 2 stars. Advertised special on Sat afternoon is 18 holes with cart for $25. Not true. It's 18 holes and half a cart! My friend, his small son and I went on Sat afternoon and we're expecting to pay $50 for 18 holes each and 2 carts only to find out there is an additional fee of $16 for a second cart. Weird, what happened to the special? If we would have made separate tee times we would have got the deal, but since we didn't....oh well. We walked it all. Not only did Badlands not get the addition money from us, they missed out on the approximately $40 we would have spent on drinks has we had carts. We walked it out of spit. They could have cleared up their half cart policy with us, given us the cart and we would have been more clear for next time, but no. Now we have a bitter taste in...

WOMEN BEWARE. Great deal. Used to be one of our favorite courses! Multiple groups of 5, 6, 8, & 12 out today. We had a group of 5 (2 women & 3 men). Guy working with the dreads was hostile off the bat with us saying the number of people in our group was “not ideal” & to “not do it again.” I didn’t see him speaking to any of the men in the clubhouse in the same manor. On the 11th hole, he scolded us for “not keeping pace” even though we were patiently waiting on the people in front of us. He hasn’t approached ANY of the male groups. The worst customer experience i have had playing golf in 30 years. I suffer from preexisting conditions and they refused to take payment over the phone during the biggest covid outbreak in history as I stood outside an over packed clubhouse. The receptionist refused to even consider my situation. I explained I had left my mask at home in eau claire by mistake and they wouldn't even try to accommodate me. She basically said "too bad" Turned them into the St. Croix health department. Turned around and drove back to Eau Claire - sad. Never going back and will...
