Cozy Cabin Stove & Fireplace — Local services in Town of Warrensburg

I ordered some parts for a very old Hearth Stone gas fireplace from Cozy Cabins. Jordan was very helpful and had the package ready to ship out the next day. My parts were shipped out via Fed Ex, this part of the review gets pretty bad. Fed Ex picked up the package the day after I ordered the parts, delivery was to be on October 17th. The package sat at the Fed Ex terminal for 2 days and delivery day was moved back to the 18th. At 7:53 PM on the 18th I got an email from Fed Ex that the delivery was attempted and needed a signature but nobody was home. We were home and have 2 dogs that would have let us know if someone was at the door. We also have security cameras and no delivery attempt was made, yet the driver blamed it on needing a signature and no one was home. So now the updated delivery date is October 19th, "before the end of the day" So Saturday at 2:44PM I get and email "Your shipment from The Cozy Cabin may be impacted by operational reasons" This after I had talked to Fed Ex customer support and they assured me that it was out for delivery and I would get it by the end of the day. Now the new delivery date is October 21st between 11:00 and 3:00. It finally showed up 4 days after the original delivery date. After talking to Fed Ex support twice I was assured that a "ticket" would be started to look into this. Never heard from them.

I ALSO WANT TO STATE THAT THE SERVICE FROM COZY CABINS AND JORDAN RUMBLE WAS GREAT. THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE...

WOW - - I was EXTREMELY impressed with my "first" buying experience with Cozy Cabin. We have a 20+ year old Regency LP Gas Fire Place insert and have determined the Gas Valve needs to be replaced. Via WEB WORK, I discovered that Regency has DISCONTINED that valve and has not specified a substitute for it - - BUMMER. Did EXTENSIVE WEB WORK to determine IF some supplier MIGHT have some "new / old stock". Fortunately I discovered the Cozy Cabin WEB site. (This was the ONLY source on the WEB that had the needed Gas Valve.) They had THREE in stock (I only needed one). I called Cozy Cabin and had a great conversation with Hollianne. She shared with me that when the CC owner heard that Regency was going to discontinue the Gas Valve, he acquired as many as were available and "squirreled them away" - - much to my very good fortune. I promptly made a purchase via my call with Hollianne and within a few days received the needed "discontinued" RobertShaw Gas Valve. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the foresight of the CC owner and with the very impressive and professional "Customer Service" support I received from Hollianne. Accordingly, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying from the Cozy Cabin team. You will be impressed and NOT disappointed. I moved to the ADK last fall and began preparing to spend my first winter in New York. The obvious and most important purchase was a proper woodstove. The staff at the Cozy Cabin were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and assisted me in finding the perfect stove for our needs. They exude quality in the way the run their business and in every stove and accessory they sell. Mary was the sales lead who helped us with everything from beginning to end. She was of course great with the sale, but what sets this team apart was the care she delivered after our purchase. As I stated, we were new to the area... she has lived here her whole life and was generous enough to share what she knows with us. Problems arose fairly quickly after setting up our stove and new piping system, then a fairly serious issue began recently that ended our ability to have a fire at all. I called Mary. She helped us every step of the way from trouble shooting, to recommendations to come look at our set-up, then trudging through her inventory to find us the one single piece that would fix all of our ventilation issues!
