John Welch is a true master craftsman who takes pride in his work. He made our dreams come true. We planned a custom home and were looking for someone to help us in the design of our kitchen and bathrooms. We spent lots of time on Houzz and visiting showrooms. We tried several designers but each one pushed their own product line and didn’t take the time to get to know us and our sensibilities. Then we struck gold- we were introduced to John.

John has endless patience and is a great listener. He developed a sense of our design taste and developed drawings that matched our needs – and added his expertise and extra special touches that achieved the rustic elegance that we wanted in our home. We were very particular about the cabinet design and quality and the color scheme. In John’s beautiful showroom he helped us visualize the right products and color schemes to meet our dreams. We thought we were going to drive him crazy with our refinements, but his patient meticulous style matched our desire to “get it just right.”

John stuck with us through the ordering, the installation, and the final punch list. On the job-site John was like a mother hen in ensuring that our cabinets, tile, and appliance installation were properly coordinated and respected by all of the trades that had to work together to get the job done right.

Kitchen and bath design can be a real challenge – picking the right cabinets, the right lay out, the right color, the right appliances etc. John guided and supported us through every phase of the work. We ended up with a dream kitchen which is both highly functional and esthetically beautiful. Quality all the way! We dreamt of a master bathroom that was like a spa. We ended up with an elegant spa in our master suite.

We can’t say enough about the quality of work done by John and his team of sub-contractors. John is a great contractor and quite the perfectionist, as it shows in the work completed. It started out as a kitchen remodel and morphed into our entire house being redesigned. He drew plans for the kitchen first which was phenomenal—he didn’t waste a square inch of space and put everything in the perfect place. He has the patience of a saint and was extremely helpful in helping choose the best choices in cabinets, quartz counter tops, tile, etc. We were so pleased with the kitchen that we decided to have him do our 4 bathrooms and laundry room as well. All were exactly what I dreamed about. When I walk into the master bath, I feel like I’m entering a spa! In addition, he supervised the installation of all new character oak flooring throughout the house, window and crown moldings, new exterior and interior doors, a new Trex deck, and a full basement refinishing. It was a lengthy project and was handled in the most professional way. John was here every day to make sure the timeline stayed on track. He was diligent about getting the contractors in when needed so as not to extend the length of the project. We can’t thank him enough for making our home as beautiful and functional...
