Absolutely HAND'S DOWN best shop around town! OPEN WEEKEND's and always replies (even at 2 a.m when I needed) Steve went above and beyond to not only save our family vacation but made us feel safe on our trip. He worked last minute and ON A WEEKEND on my Durango to insure we didn't need to cancel. As a single mom it's hard to find a repair shop whom you can trust and afford that you don't feel taken advantage at. Not only was every single thing explained it was "dumbed" down so it was understandable and manageable. Steve also gave additional recommendations for other needed services and time frames needed at fair prices. Steve's Expert Repair has affiliates with a tow service and alignment shop's that he utilizes for additional services till he expands and you save some money! My '03 Land Cruiser broke down in Shawano, WI on a Sunday during a Packer game. I Googlemapped "auto repair" and saw Steve's had 5 stars. Not only did he answer the phone, within an hour he had it towed to his place in Cecil, diagnosed the problem, and estimated when it would be fixed on Monday. It was a 6.3-hour task, so he started taking it apart. On Sunday night.

Steve called me on Monday morning and recommended additional service, but said he couldn't get to it until later in the week. It was obvious he knows a ton about the J100 Land Cruiser (98-07), and had created such a deep trust that I wanted him to do the work. Since there are no car rentals in Shawano, the only way for that to happen was to rent a UHaul truck to dive 4 hours back to Minneapolis. I'll probably have to do the same thing to pick it up. I feel like it's worth it.

Overall just a terrific experience and I hope to have him work on my truck again under better circumstances....

I can’t say enough good things about Steve’s Expert Repair. On a Saturday at 3 PM, I was about 30 miles north of his shop with no open auto repair nearby when my truck started overheating. I called Steve, and within the hour the tow truck was to me.

Once my truck was at the shop, he quickly diagnosed the problem, sent someone out to get the parts that same afternoon, and had everything repaired and tested by 9:30 PM that night. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent Steve kept me informed every step of the way, so I never had to wonder what was going on. He also said if I needed my truck that night, he would be at the shop after hours and I could come pick it up if I needed it. WOW!

The speed, professionalism, and customer service were outstanding. Steve truly went above and beyond to get me back on the road. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring a vehicle to him again whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommended!
