Lake Mart Convenience Store — Local services in Town of Wescott

We stayed on the lake with a big group of 20 people, and Lake Mart ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Their take-and-bake pizza is incredible — perfectly cheesy, flavorful, and such a hit with our crew. We also got their fresh pizza straight from the kitchen, and it was just as amazing. We had leftovers the next morning and even cold, it was still delicious.

We made multiple visits, including a late-night run for ice cream and s’mores ingredients, and they had everything we needed. The owners are so nice and helpful, and the whole place has a welcoming, small-town charm. The selection is great, the food is delicious, and the experience was top-notch every single time.

We stopped here to pick up some lunch. My daughter has a disability and requires a service dog. Lake mart denied her access to the store because of her service dog. We explained this is a service animal and tried to nicely educate on the laws regarding service animals, as some people are sincerely unaware. The staff continues to deny entry to the store and followed us out to our vehicle trying to justify why our working service animal couldn’t enter the building. If you have any sort of disability, or God forbid, a service animal, you will want to shop elsewhere as you will not be welcome here. Only healthy “typical” people are allowed...

We have been loving Lake Mart this summer and last. The new(ish) owners have created a very nice space to shop, the owner listens to what customers are interested in, and most importantly... Lake Mart has fantastic pizza, flatbread (cauliflower crust), and many other tasty menu items. The take-and-bake option works really well for us; I order the flatbread a couple times a week. So happy to have them on the north shore of Shawano Lake right next to Loon Lake and Washington Lake. A friendly, convenient place to stop with all the right convenience store options. -A loyal customer with no other association...
