Craig saved my bike! I was told by Cannondale that my forks were like so obsolete and couldn't be serviced and to talk to my local Cannondale dealer about dropping another $500 on a new set -which is more than my bike is worth...

I found out about Craig and read numerous positive reviews about him and his services on many of the various bike blogs and am glad I found him. Craig rebuilt my forks (oil change, orings etc.) for $56 out the door...

This is less than half of what Cannondale would have charged (and I have been told much faster) if they could have fixed them which they couldn't because Craig bought all Canny's old inventory to do these repairs (Cannondale can't service any forks older than 2005). Anyone else offering similar services is likely using old or imitation parts or could possibly butcher your forks beyond repair -so buyer beware!!!

I was in the process of restoring my '99 Cannondale Silk Path 400 with a Headshok and had quite a bit of trouble getting anyone to help. All the shops I spoke with recommended just replacing it with a standard fork. Then I found Mendon Cyclesmith. The entire process is perfectly detailed on the webpage with a complete list of units he services. I shipped my fork off and as soon as he received it, he sent me an email saying what needed to be done. I did have to order an additional part, but he told me exactly which one and sent a link to purchase it. I just had my 2009 PBR Max Lefty serviced by Craig. I say Craig, rather than "The Mendon Cyclesmith" because what you are going to receive is a very personalized, service experience. It's amazing to me that a shop this size, with such a prompt turnaround, can give personal responses to your queries in short order. My Lefty was only in his shop a week or so, and came back to me looking like it had been repaired by a jeweler. I bought my bike used, last April, and I was excited about having my first higher-end bike. It felt good to me, but I had no benchmark for comparison.
