This started as a negative review when the following happened … Stopped in last week to get some beverages and talked to the staff. Told them I was bringing my husband in as a surprise for our 24th Wedding anniversary to drink wine and have food in the speak easy. We’re new to the area and were excited to try it. We walked in and were told they were closed. The sign in front of us said open. They decided YESTERDAY … or she said maybe Saturday … they were going to start closing Monday and Tuesday. Who makes the decision to close with under 48 hours notice? No change to signage. No change to the website. What kind of disorganized mess did we avoid? I won’t go back…. Then this happened…

The owner called me within minutes of my review. Profusely apologized and asked us to come back and give her a chance to fix it. Not next month or next week…. Now. She would stay open and take care of us personally. We said yes. Went back and had an incredible time. They remained closed to the public and made sure we had a wonderful, romantic evening with the place to ourselves. The food was wonderful. The champagne delicious and their hospitality genuine. Premier Wine & Spirits is easily going to be our new favorite spot! The atmosphere is chill and welcoming, there is a speakeasy, a humidor and a neatly organized retail wine shop. So basically - heaven.

We found a few good organic bottles to take home and had a glass of red in the speakeasy before leaving. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate! Stop by, it’s WORTH IT!

The whole staff is extremely helpful. John’s your guy in the retail section for your take home wine, spirits and cigar needs. Stephanie, the bartender, is incredibly knowledgeable about natural, organic and biodynamic wines. They were an absolute pleasure in conversation. We had an average experience. The welcome was cold. We had drinks, bought cigars and went outside to smoke and drink at about 8:30 on a Friday night. They closed the bar and locked us out without letting us know ( we found out when we went for more drinks) The wife made a post to this effect and even said we would be back ( in case it was a one off). They deleted post. I guess they only wanted flowery posts that make them look good Not what happened. I still would go back to see if it was a one off. Looks like...
