Apple Hill Orchards — Local services in Town of Whitehall

My wife and I visit the Adirondacks every October. Normally we purchase like 40 pounds of apples at our favorite orchard in Orwell, VT to bring back to our home in Pennsylvania; thanks to COVID-19, Vermont asked us to stay away so we had to find an alternate. After researching orchards, we settled on Apple Hill and drove out of our way to stop by. We were disappointed to see the gate closed even though the message on their phone line as well as their website said they were open (not to mention the sign on the side of the road). First time ever apple picking. My daughters and I loved it there. They have several varieties to pick. Big enough orchards to wander a little and get some great apples off the many trees without being overwhelming. Great experience at a great price....
