This place might not be exactly what you've been told it would be.
From what I had been told by various people, this is a place where the Amish go to get "everything", plus there were things like buggy wheels and such for sale. I was also told it was "better" after the fire.
By what I had been told by a Amish friend, "we go to Wal-Mart. Englishers are silly if they think we call that a 'Wal-Mart'."
The inside is kind of like a dollar/dime store meets auction. There are new gloves across the aisle from well-use farm implements, and new stainless steel kitchenware across from collectable plates from various states and old pop bottles. Prices aren't too bad. The brands are like what you would find at a closeouts place.
The exterior answers the question of where all those things purchased by Amish at auctions go. Each open faced "booth" in the open side buildings feature different things -- tools that are too old to use, baby cribs, scythes, random windows, and more. It is extensive. Wear shoes appropriate for the weather and if you were going for a walk in the wild. We were there on a spring day, and the soil in some areas was rather squishy.
I am giving the place 3 stars to be neutral. I am not the type of person to see an old piece of something, and craft it into a masterpiece flower planter or piece of furniture. If that is your talent, then you would enjoy this place far...
