I mean I really don't even know where to begin to explain how perfect the venue was. The weekend Thursday-Sunday, and especially our wedding day on Saturday (September 28, 2024), was and will always be the best days of our lives.

The outdoor ceremony in the Enchanted Forest was picturesque and quiet and easily comfortable for our 150+ guest count. The cocktail hour on the lawn and porch was beautiful, open, and fun for everyone. The indoor reception in the barn was the night of our lives. The house all weekend was comfortable for everyone staying there (we max'd it out and slept 33 people). The house was also perfect for the rehearsal dinner (we catered from Chicken Run and had 50 guests), the reception after party both indoors and outdoors by the fire (maybe 75 people), and the grab n' go/social breakfast the morning after where 120+ people must have stopped by. It was also the perfect distance from our welcome drinks which we had at Chicken Run and had cabs on call to drive us between.

The house all weekend was perfect for runners, hikers, those who wanted to throw a frisbee or play cornhole or be by the fire, play foosball or ping pong or chess or workout in the basement, go golf at the golf club, watch sports or movies on the tv, or just hang out. Everyone had such a fun weekend. Karen and Terri are the BEST and took care of us all weekend and just make your job as weekend event hosts so easy. If anything does go wrong (one of the pull-out sofa beds was without bedding originally), someone (Susan, Karen, or Terri) will immediately resolve it no questions asked. Susan, Barry and Jenn made sure setup and vendors went off without a hitch. Parking, shuttles, and golf carts were as easy for everyone as we could have hoped. Even the parts that were out of our control - the weather and fall foliage - were a dream come true. If I had to pick one truly unbelievable example, Terri even put back our 2 playing card decks that we had brought into their respective boxes and put all of the cards in order. Who even does that?!

If you're on the fence, let me tell you: if I had to succinctly express what Windham Manor gave me..... Everyone had told me leading up to the wedding that it goes by before you know it and you feel whiplash and like you hardly got to see anyone. Because of Windham Manor and the perfect experience lasting Thursday-Sunday all on-site, I never felt that for a second. People often say that your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye and to take it all in because it goes so fast, and I can now confidently say that is not the case at Windham Manor. We got married on October 1st at Windham Manor and spent four days immersed in the love of our family and friends. I would do the weekend all over again a million times if I could. This venue gave us the perfect format to spend time with our immediate families, visit with grandparents, party with our bridal party, visit with guests from near and far and overall have an unforgettable wedding. Our families and friends have not stopped talking about it and have done nothing but rave about Windham Manor, the house, the barn, the staff and the all-around attention to detail and spectacular setup that Susan and Barry have created.

When I say they thought of it all, they truly thought of it all, and then some! Susan and Barry went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy from the second we stepped foot on the property to the second we left (in tears because we didn’t want it to end). Don’t even get me started on the enchanted forest ceremony site. It is truly a fairytale to walk down the aisle in that setting. It felt like we stepped into another world and were solely in that moment. The house where our entire bridal party stayed for the weekend is incredible, so much space for everyone, well equipped, immaculate, and updated. Teri the house manager who we now like to refer to as our house mom, is a one-of-a-kind human being. Teri thought of things before we even knew we needed them. She was exceptional!

This venue holds a very special places in our hearts and we cannot wait to visit for years to come. It truly was the best weekend of our lives. Thank you to Susan, Barry, Sam, Teri, Karen, Jen, the security team, and everyone else that helped make our big day the absolute best!

My husband and I got married at the Windham Manor on September 16th of 2023 and words can not describe how incredible of a day we had because of this place and their wonderful staff. The owners Susan and Barry are the nicest and most incredible people we have ever met. They have done such an amazing job with the venue and make sure everything is beyond perfect. They are so easy going and let you customize, or do anything you want while you are staying there and for the wedding.

Our family and bachelor parties all stayed at the mansion on the property from Thursday to Sunday. I highly suggest doing this because the house is amazing and it makes the wedding weekend feel so much longer. The house is amazing and the property is beautiful.

The Windham Manor staff is phenomenal, truly. Karen was there to welcome us Thursday morning and helped us with literally anything and everything we needed. She made calls to order things for us, helped package coolers, clean the house etc. She is so great! Karen left Friday night and then Terri came to fill in and she was also beyond incredible! They were extremely nice and beyond helpful. The weekend would not have been as perfect without Karen and Terri.

The day of the wedding was perfect, the staff was so amazing and Susan and Barry run a tight shift to make sure all goes perfectly. We had the ceremony in the enchanted forest and our guests were stunned. This led to the cocktail hour and the reception which was the best party we have ever been to, and our guests are saying the same! The place is just beautiful and will definitely be the best wedding we will ever go to strictly because of how amazing this venue is.
