I am extremely disappointed with the level of care and transparency at this clinic. On May 22, I paid $265 for a radiograph, exam, and vaccinations for my dog. During a follow-up visit, I was charged $407.97 for what was only labeled as a “small pet reexamination and medications”—nearly double the cost of the previous, more involved visit.

We were led to believe through email communication that surgery was urgent and necessary. However, when complications arose and we asked to speak with the surgeon for further clarification, we were told he was “on lunch” and unavailable. No one provided a clear explanation of what went wrong or what we were paying for, despite our repeated questions.

This lack of transparency, inconsistent pricing, and dismissive behavior feels incredibly unethical and has left us feeling taken advantage of. I strongly urge others to ask for a full breakdown of costs before agreeing to any treatment, and to get a second opinion if you feel pressured into making quick decisions.

So our dog has a cherry eye and we went to Towner Animal Clinic and uwe were told surgery is the only way to fix it. We arrive for his appointment all the way from minot for them to refuse to do the surgery because we only had $150.00 on a card for the deposit and they wanted $250. We had cash for the rest which we wouldn't even know how much it would be in total until they finished. They wouldn't work with us at all and rwere very snobby. Good thing it's not a life threatening issue or something that causes him pain. I can't believe how much money is the main important thing even when it comes to a pets health and comfort. My dog just had a litter of pups on Saturday. She was not acting herself lots of whining and panting. Tried several other vet clinics with no luck even tried their emergency vet, lines and rugby with no return phone calls. Called here they said bring her in. We will see her today as soon as we got there at 10, they brought her right back. They did bloodwork took a couple x-rays to make sure there was no pups left inside. End up with a little bit of milk fever and they gave me antibiotics. Sent me on my way to get some Tums. Everybody was super helpful super nice. was awesome.
