I went horse riding at Cowboy Trail Rides yesterday, and it was an unforgettable experience! This was my very first time riding a horse, and to be honest, I was pretty nervous at first. But thanks to our amazing guide, Lucas, who owns the place, all my fears quickly faded away.

From the moment we arrived, Lucas was warm, welcoming, and incredibly reassuring. He took the time to introduce us to the horses, explain how everything worked, and made sure we all felt safe and comfortable. His calm, confident energy helped me relax and trust the process. Within minutes of starting the ride, my nerves started to fade and I found myself actually enjoying it!

The horses were gentle, well-trained, and clearly very well cared for. The trail itself was absolutely breathtaking stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and such a great way to connect with nature. It wasn’t just a ride, it was an experience, and one I’ll never forget.

Found Lucas after much research to fit what I was looking for. It was such a smooth experience and he was really engaging, patient and attentive throughout our 2 hour ride. What stands out about this place is, Lucas has got the capability as well as the professionalism to handle giving the riders some freedom and leeway, all while cautiously keeping track of things and ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone involved.

The sunset views were brilliant, riding into the setting sun across the grassy fields was a sight for sore eyes. I wanted to absorb every bit of it, did not even blink. It was apparent that the horses were well cared for and the stable looked quite charming and glowy at night when the fairy lights came on, against the pitch black backdrop of nightfall. Cookie, his dog that was waiting to greet us when we reached there was the DARLINGEST border collie ever, spent some time with her. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had! The views were absolutely stunning, and the horses were incredibly calm and well-trained. Our ride was both fun and engaging; we had the opportunity to interact with the horses and even experiment with different speeds, all under the guidance of a very kind and knowledgeable instructor. The family who runs the experience is wonderful so friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond by taking photos and videos for us, capturing memories we’ll cherish. I was also impressed by their helpfulness when I accidentally lost my phone (definitely recommend bringing a bag to keep your phone secure, mine fell out of my pocket). They were kind enough to assist me in retracing my steps to find it. I will definitely be returning and planning to celebrate my birthday here!
