Travelers Rest Speedway — Local services in Travelers Rest

DO NOT ATTEND THEIR MONSTER TRUCK RALLY! One truck at a time, with 10+ minutes between trucks. Supposed to run from 2pm-4pm. At 3:05, they took an intermission. Intermission lasted until 3:45. After intermission, they ran one gocart and threw frisbees at the crowd- saw several kids wiped out on the gravel fighting to catch one. Not a single truck ran from 3:05 until 3:50. Then, after only one run, back to the go carts. One truck broke down in the middle of a run. Maybe saw 10 total runs, only running one truck at a time the majority of time. They run the go-carts more than the trucks. There were a bunch of people standing at the fence bc there wasn’t enough seating as they only opened up one side of the track. You can’t see the trucks through the people standing at the fence. Also, we waited 35 minutes in the car line on Hwy 25 just waiting to park at...

It's sad that you pay the same amt as everyone else but yet you can't see bc people are lined on the fence and you go tell the workers to ask them to move well they do but then they come right back and they don't keep it enforced. Some people aren't able to stand during the whole motorcycle race and shouldn't have to. Maybe put signs on the fence saying no standing at the fence or else you will have to leave. Its not fair to those that can't stand or may be in wheelchairs. This was our 1st and last trip. There was multiple people going to complain about it and undoubtedly it doesn't matter. We come to celebrate our sons bday but couldn't enjoy the race cause most of our view...

I feel i got ripped off. Races where terrible. Not enough cars. The track was good. Should have been cheaper. Too bad the motocross hills obstructed the view. Single file racing. It was lime amateur hour. Also BIG BIG PROBLEM as we exited it was extremely dark and there was no yellow and black arrow sign as you pull out letting you know your going the WRONG WAY ON A ONE WAY HIGHWAY.
