HEIRLOOM — Local services in Travilah

It’s a nice store with a variety of antiques, but the hospitality and customer service are lacking. I spent quite a bit of time browsing through each room, yet from the moment I walked in, no one greeted me or acknowledged my presence - not one word!. The owner walked by me several times without a word- one passing in front of me. At one point, I was admiring a framed painting when an employee took it down to show another customer. The painting didn’t have a price tag, so the employee checked with the owner, who confirmed the price. The customer decided not to buy it, and the employee took the painting to the counter to tag it. I followed and told her I was interested and wanted to confirm the price, I heard it was $92…. She then told me the price might actually be higher and that she needed to research it. Strange since she had just given the other client a price. I told her I would wait for confirmation. After about ten minutes of waiting, there was still no response. The employee and owner were chatting and laughing while I waited, clearly being ignored. I eventually left, feeling like they simply weren’t interested in selling...

We went to Heirloom Cottage for the first time on their tent day. They did a really good job highlighting what they are experts in. The inside was absolutely beautiful, and I felt like it was organized very well.
