He treated my wife and two daughters with respect, although he was extremely opinionated, I respect that.
We got cherry tomatoes, eggs, and some other items, the pickled eggs didn’t even make it home the cherry tomatoes didn’t last 3 miles as well as the other items were very tasty and fresh. He even guided us on to some local places to get lobster and some other treats. And where not to go!!!!! I appreciate that, after all being a tourist doesn’t mean that I should get ripped off by tourist prices!
If ever in Maine, we will make sure we go out of our way to visit...

With the help of another customer, he went on a political, far-right tirade for about 20 minutes. He hadn’t given us our change yet, so we were his captive audience. I was absolutely horrified by the hateful, violent language that was thrown around in this conversation.
At one point, he pulled a rifle from underneath the counter, and waved it in the air. I wish I was joking.
