Magers Food Store Inc. — Local services in Trenton

I have been a customer of Magers for about 30 years. I have lived in towns such as Sherman. I would take Magers Food store over Wal-Mart, Kroger or any other Food chain. The meat market is well stocked and prices are within the standard. The store is always clean and the food on the shelves, neat and organized. People can find fault if they look. I certainly know that I am not perfect! It is an imperfect world! We are all blessed to have such a Great business as Magers. Please keep in mind when posting a review, try to keep it constructive. The point is to give the owner a chance to improve on service. I have read some of the reviews. Some, all negative! Pettits Grocery in Whitewright, I enjoyed for getting some things when I was in town. Pettits went out of business in 2015. I sure hope that Magers is here for...

I’m not sure who would rate this place more than one star. Every time I have shopped here, I have to hold my breath and get in and get out as fast as possible due to the smell. It’s rancid. The shelves are half empty, the floors are dirty, it grosses me out. I only ever stop here if I have no other options and only need one thing, but after today, I’ve had enough. I’ll drive out of my way to another store before I step foot...

I'd recommend finding any other place to stop besides here. Produce looked decent, store was fairly clean but between the absent staff and the owner that smokes in the back room (our kids needed to use the restroom but couldn't because the back area was literally filled with fresh smoke).. there's definitely better places to go - right up the road at KC Mart - that have better service, helpful staff and owners that don't...
