Having ALOT of experience at this Kroger in particular, It is difficult to be unbiased but I will do my best in this review, firstly. Let's start with the product, The store carries just about every basic product you can think of, and an organic version of that product. The choosing of brands however is slim. The produce, is a laughing-stock. And the Dairy is okay however the milk on-sale at the time is often sold-out or you have to ask for it at the register....
Ah yes, the registers. This is where the management has failed, the speed of the checkout is excellent, and the quality of bagging is decent. The customer service is usually okay, but not so much to a personal level but more of a professional level, but where it lacks is discipline for phone-use, the least thing I'd like to see walking into any business is employee with they're phones out mindlessly texting with no acknowledgement that you exist until you get to checkout, and even then sometimes takes a second to wake them from the device to ring you up.
And lastly let's move on to the employees on the floor, not the ones doing they're job, such as stocking or maintaining the groceries, no. The ones standing around gossiping while others are short-handed, or perhaps the ones holding very improper conversation while the store is open with customers around. This is not something I care to see or hear personally.
This review is hard to write unbiased due to the fact I have been previously employed here, but note that this review is from a customer-level view purely, and not from an ex-employee level view.
Other then these couple flaws, it's a great store to shop in for your everyday needs, and even with the ability to special order certain items the store may not carry or...
Read moreThe staff and manager are VERY nice! However Krogers needs to modernize the Trimble location so badly. There is no fresh daily bread or deli. Many times I've purchased food I've had to return it due to being spoiled in the freezer sections. The parking lot is horrible with rocks potholes, and the bathrooms are disgusting the smell of urine and half the time out of order, the store smells of mold and I feel like I took a dirt bath when I use to shop there. For a small Kroger there's no natural daylight and the lighting is outdated and makes the store feel nasty. Disliked it so much switched our medications from the trimble location to now Amazon Pharmacy. Trimble Kroger reminds me of an old IGA. I really don't shop at the Trimble location anymore and sadly it's the closest Kroger from our home being 9 miles away, but now we do our main shopping now online and they deliver directly to our door here in Corning from the Shook Road fulfillment center. Or if Id like to walk around in a krogers I shop in Athens, Logan, or...
Read moreIf they all did their jobs like Nathan spears and Katie Campbell then it wouldn't be so dang political . COVID cut the hours on every thing even 24 he stores. But the closing people now get off an hr earlier cause they close at 10. But every day they close 5 to 10 minutes earlier than 10. I guess so they can stand around and gossip a few extra minutes more than the whole shift they stand there and talk about everyone. Way to go team you are a heartless soulless person if you close a door in a person's face that tells u they one want diaper wipes and chocolate milk. I pray time someone pays it forward to you people. Treat others the way you...
