Doniphan County Courthouse — Local services in Troy

Yeah they restored it, yeah it looks like an old castle kind of, but is the most impractical way to spend our tax dollars restoring and heating and air conditioning and maintenance on this is got to be just 5 10 times more than a modern office complex would cost. Cost? Plus you don't have to walk up 50 flights of steps. Okay. Maybe not 50, but anyhow that's my opinion.

Was on the glacial hills scenic byway trip through Northeast. Kansas and Troy was our first stop. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful courthouse, the sculpture on the south lawn and all of the other displays around the lawns. Lovely little...
