
So ultimate fitness plus in Troy mo definitely wouldn’t recommend going to this gym.. when originally signed I asked to make sure was going to be month to month and was told it is. When I signed paper work I didn’t read everything I was signing and signed a one year contract with them.. my fault there for not reading. My problem is i called and spoke to someone there in April and asked for my membership to be canceled, they took my name and phone number said the cancellation would be taken care of. Get my credit card bill and went over it for the past 2 months I have been getting billed normal amount from them. So I call up and speak to a women up there about it and she informed me they don’t do cancellation over phone I had to email or come in and fill out paper work so I send email saying I would like to cancel ask about possibly refund for last 2 month. I receive email saying they would take care of cancel couple minutes later I get another phone call saying that they couldn’t process it because I need to pay past due balance of 65.02 when I’ve paid previous 2 months now they want me to pay 65 on top of me paying my 54 for last 2 months. I asked to speak to owner or manager which I did. She said pretty much same thing that other person did. That they are trained the same and they would not let me cancel over phone for this reason, but I spoke to someone back in April saying it was going to get taken care of. Obviously was not taken care and are not willing to help now just wanting to charge me the 65 or we can go ahead and carry on the contract... just figured would give people heads...
Read moreI would not recommend this gym. They are extremely money hungry and will charge you for everything. Including a sign up fee, monthly fees, a fee to get a key and yearly fees. My son signed us up on a family plan, he was not told that it is a year contract. He tried to cancel on month 10 and was told he had to wait until July. He's talked to them the gym three times since then about canceling and they told him he had to email to cancel. He said that he did email and checked his history. His email looked like it did not go through because it said that it will retry to send when his phone had internet .That date was on the 24th of June. The gym has notes that he had called to cancel. He resent the email today July 1st after noticing that the email on the 24th did not go through and the gym said too bad. We're going to charge you another month because you didn't cancel in time. He was one day late. They fully intend on charging another $80. This kid is struggling and trying to get his stuff together so that he can leave for the Air Force. I am shocked that they are treating him like this even though they are very well aware that he had tried to cancel this policy...
Read moreWe absolutely love OUR gym! The staff knows you by name and is very personable. Sarah the owner is very involved and it shows, its her baby. And my goodness who doesn't love Cathy! It's very clean and they do a wonderful job of keeping it that way. They offer an amazing bootcamp with Tara and her husband Keith as well as classes for your children training with Cathy, Tara and Lindsay. They offer the best pre-workout powder, protein shakes and bars for when I forget to eat before arriving. They take great care of their patrons and show alot of support for private business owners with advertising around the gym. Anyone who doesn't think the staff is personable may want to make sure they aren't giving the don't talk to me vibes. On occasion I know I give those vibes myself and the staff gives me the space to focus on my workout and bounce. I appreciate their ability to acknowledge we all...
