Indian Jewelry — Local services in Tuba City

This is one of the best unplanned spots on our trip to the canyon. We came across it on the way and fell in love with all the hand crafted jewelry and souvenirs here. The seller is a Native American himself. His grandfather is living in that area with very limited access to electricity and water. We enjoyed not only the goods here but also the stories we learned from him. It was a good experience to know more about the people here, even if you don’t plan to buy anything. Nice place a few miles away from the eastern entrance of the grand canyon national park. A lot of items and crafts are handmade by local communities. Prices are a little intimidating for certain items and sometimes hard to understand why. It would be nice to add some more information about the different artisans and their way of making things to understand what's the work behind the scene and create a stronger connection with their products....

The girls I met the day I stopped in where so nice and welcoming! I also bought a couple pieces. I bought a pair of silver ear rings for my Mom to which she loves.
