I found Maria after a Google search. i contacted 3 people and she was the only one who responded (I still haven't heard from the others weeks later). We texted back and forth and Maria communicated with me promptly, with courtesy and kindness. She volunteered that she is licensed, insured and vaccinated before I even asked! She had good availability, and it was easy to schedule. Maria made a private visit to my mother-in-law's assisted living facility ON A SUNDAY. She cut and styled her hair, gave her a mani/pedi and then my MIL also asked her to apply her makeup, which Maria did even though that wasn't expected. My mother-in-law, though wary of strangers, was very comfortable with Maria and had a wonderful time. Maria has a heart and the skills for people with special needs. She came fully prepared with everything she needed to get it all done and her prices are completely fair. She spent a couple hours with our loved one, more than she normally would, and didn't rush. Nice price. Nice modest, kind professional, Not nosy but can have genuine interest in clients. Doesn't mind if you went somewhere else to get your haircut for awhile. Takes walkins and you might want to call ahead for appointment. Likes to cut hair and does it a lot. I've been for 2 years off and on and she always does what I like, just right, and she can cut your hair exactly how it was cut last time, wherever you went, with caress. I always appreciated her demeanor and that she has family of her own that she cares deeply for. And I always liked the money I saved so I could leave a tip. Maria is one of God's Angels on earth. I contacted Maria to cut my 74 year old neighbor's long hair (I explained to Maria that my neighbor has cancer again and she wanted to get her cut before her surgery on Monday) I texted Maria yesterday mid morning and she replied instantly. She said she was really busy... but Maria rescheduled her day and squeezed us in that same day. She was so nice and understanding with me. She was so kind and sweet to my neighbor.
