My fiancé and I rented Quietude for Memorial Day Weekend to celebrate our joint bachelor/bachelorette. It was absolutely perfect for us and our 14 close friends/bridal party! We were welcomed with a sweet note and bottle of champagne to start our celebrations :) From the moment we arrived at the house/property we were blown away with how beautiful it is. We wanted a weekend away to relax in nature and spend some quality time with everyone before the big day, and this property was everything we wanted it to be. Everyone of our guests had space of their own, and the kitchen/library at the main house was perfect for everyone to gather together. My favorite space was definitely the sunroom! It was so peaceful there especially with the windows open, and the big comfy chairs were the perfect place to curl up with my book or take a mid-afternoon nap. During our stay we ventured to the castle in the clouds conservation area and did the Brook Walk. It was such a beautiful and easy going hike! Every night of our stay we utilized the main fire pit which was so great, and the lower fire pit one of the nights to cook up a rib roast over charcoal. Everything about the property and our stay was perfect and exactly what we had hoped for. I recently hosted a women's retreat at Ember Escapes in Tuftonboro, NH. The large fireplace in the living area created a cozy, inviting atmosphere, perfect for our group gatherings. The exquisite woodwork added a rustic charm throughout the property.

The huge kitchen was a delight, fully equipped and spacious enough for communal cooking, making our mealtimes enjoyable and collaborative. The bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, offering a restful escape for everyone.

Recently stayed with family (11 of us). There’s an incredible feeling of peace and sense of place. Historic “lodge” has been masterfully preserved and renovated to accommodate modern living. Incredible chef’s kitchen, several window seats perfect for relaxing with a book or admiring the scenic landscaping. The owners are fantastic and provide a venue where guests are free to roam the grounds, sit in front of a cozy fire, connect with one another.
