Very poor management, the manager Brenda Lanham, and the Owners daughter, Suzie Kelly, are never on the same page, from prices of the booths, to the use of the dumpster, and they wonder why the market, is half empty on the inside, God help the family, when Mr. Ashley, in not around to keep those two, somewhat under control, I started out in a small booth, then up graded to a bigger booth, then I was looking to up grade again to a larger booth, there was a booth, that had merchandise from a vendor in it, that was never open, when I inquired about it, I was told it belonged to Antonio Perez, and that he was about 6 months behind on rent, I was informed by Suzie Kelly, that she had sent him a certified letter, tell him to pay up, or lose his merchandise, she also inform my nephew and myself, that she did not like his type, and was scared of him, what a racist comment, from Suzie Kelly, the owners daughter, Antonio Perez owns several grocery stores, radio stations, and car lots in our community, Someone in the Hispanic community, needs to open there own flea market, and show these two how to run a business, I eventually moved in the that booth, that Mr. Perez occupied, paying $600.00 per month, after my third week there, with my sales being great, they started telling me what, I could not sale, in my booth, and I would not comply, so Brenda lanham, and the security guard, come down and ask me to vacate the flea market, by 6:00 the next day, little to my surprise, I had someone go check out the 500 room at the market, witch is Suzie Kelly, booth at the market, to see, she is selling, the same goods I was not...
Read moreThis place has really fallen into disrepair in the last decade. The building interior has a strong musty moldy smell in places. The parking area was trashy with food wrappers and covered in glass from bottles being discarded on the ground. Id definitely wear regular shoes, and avoid open toe shoes or sandles in the parking lot. As far as venders go, some seem to be kind, trustworthy and have what seems to be legitimate items for sale. Some on the other hand were hard to talk to, and had items that were dirty, broken, out of date, and way over priced. A few items being sold raised some concerns for safety. Especially car seats that were over 5 years past thier experation date that shold not be resold. Also, i dont feel comfortable buying some of the power tools being sold, only because I have no idea where they came from, or how they were acquired. Also Definitely lock and secure your vehicle in the area. Lots of foot traffic, people walking past, back and forth by vehicles. Just a work of caution. Other than that..... We had lunch at some of the food trucks, and that was definitely a highlight. The food at a few of the trucks was amazing and...
Read moreI love this flea market and have been going to it for many years the people are nice and the food is amazing!!! :D The only problem I have found are that There are only two major electronic vendors at the flea market both are way over priced for my liking and are not much cheaper then the stores. It kinda feels like there taking advantage of people and its kinda sad....Recently I have found that there is a new family that opened not to long ago across from the taco stand they sale electronics and basically everything else you can think of and there prices seems to always be very reasonable if not shockingly cheap I only wish they had more of a variety on...
