I had the weirdest experience here.

So I was out with my kids, and we showed up at the store around 4:15. There was a display of a physical Tetris game, honestly pretty cool looking, and a little boy was playing with it. My kids joined the boy, and I kept an eye on them while I wandered the few aisles. The boy eventually left, and it was just my kids playing. I thought I might buy the Tetris toy, seeing as it could be great for our yard, and it seemed fun af.

About 10 minutes after we'd arrived, I noticed an employee was hurriedly picking the pieces of the Tetris toy up. My daughter was visibly upset. (My son is the definition of Just Roll with It lol.) The toy, being made of thick plastic, was perfectly fine. It was only 4:30, a full half hour before the store closed. I genuinely have no idea what happened, and in asking my daughter, she stated the guy didn't say anything before grabbing the pieces away from her.

Which like, okay. I can understand if it was supposed to be a display, not hands on. But there was no signage, and given the employee was present when it was being played with prior to our arrival, it seems there wasn't a ban.

It was just. Weird. We quickly left. I made a decision not to purchase anything based on the whole interaction.

I don't know why I'm leaving this review other than to recommend the company learn how to either label things properly, or like, work with the public. Or not allow kids in the store? I consoled my daughter on the drive home. The merchandise is fine, not as inexpensive as it should be tbh but fine, and I won't be...

Buyers be aware....not beware.....I really like this store but feel compelled to share my experience so other customers know what to expect regarding defective items and their "return policy". Clearly there are no refunds. Signs say so all over the place. If your item is defective and you return it within 30 days, they claim that they will exchange your item or give you an in store credit. This is very simply not the case:

I returned a defective item, that wouldn't run, the same day. I expected to get a credit but, instead, they took the item and said they would see if they could fix it before an in store credit would be issued. I was puzzled by this. I needed the item so I went somewhere else and bought another. A week later I returned to the store and asked for a credit which was ultimately given. The item hadn't been touched yet. I was told at that time by the owner, very clearly, and for future reference, that their policy is to attempt to fix or repair returned items before any credit will be given to the customer. When I pointed out that it doesn't say anything about that in his return policy he offered to write it down for me. I suggested that he add it to his return policy so other customers know exactly what to expect. The owner is also under the impression that items labeled "factory reconditioned" means the item may need more work to get running. That's not what factory reconditioned means. It wasn't a terrible experience, just weird. Hopefully new language is added to their return policy so customers don't...

We have gone to Olympia Resale near the Olympia Airport numerous times over the last two months. We have bought a bathroom vanity, espresso machine, dishes, a camping canopy, a netted canopy, and much more. We have never had any issues with service. They have been accommodating and given solutions if we didn't find exactly what we were looking for. We do validate the "deals" before buying and open the box to make sure everything is included and not broken. The pricing for the expresso machine was 50% off what Walmart's price was. The vanity was 58% off the lowest price at big box stores. The canopies were also about 50% off. They only defect I found with the items we have purchased was 1 bowl had a small chip and the vanity had a ding on the back corner that will be placed against the wall. If you join their FB page, they video each time new stuff arrives so you don't have to drive over.
