I ordered a family box because I wanted to compare the beef to butcher box. Ordered on a Saturday right before a major storm with snow and freeze. Summer emailed me within an hour(on a Saturday) asked me about the weather and if she should send it out on Mon or Tuesday because of the weather. Very smart on her part to ask me since I’m up here in the mountains. Ordered arrived Friday, cooked a couple steaks on Saturday and they were fresh and delicious. I bought a "prime rib" for Christmas. "Prime" grade, according to USDA: "Prime beef is produced from young, well-fed beef cattle. It has abundant marbling (the amount of fat interspersed with lean meat)..." This roast had no marbling at all, hamburger grade meat at best. AND they had cut off any fat that was on top! We had to supplement the roast with beef fat we bought at a butcher so we could have drippings for gravy. They probably they have great hamburger, but don't buy prime grade...

Excellent! I’ve placed a couple large orders online and they were great. You need to know how to cook grass fed beef (shorter cook time), but that is super easy. I love that Mariposa raises grass-fed & grass-finished beef. It makes such a difference for your health. Anyways, the filet mignon turned out amazing. Ground beef is great - got tons of that.
