Eddie's Wheel & Deal Disc Furniture — Local services in Turner

I was looking for some used furniture and found my way to Eddie's. I also wanted to upgrade my existing washer and dryer, but didn't want to put out the money for new machines. Eddie's has a huge selection of refurbished machines at reasonable prices (mostly $200-$300). I bought two of the more advanced machines; they loaded them in the truck and I drove an hour home.

A couple of days later I hooked up the dryer and it worked fine, but the washer stopped part way through its cycle and it wouldn't start up again. I had to go out of state the next day, but called and spoke to Larry who does the refurbishing and repairs. I told him I was an hour away and that I wouldn't be able to bring the machine back because it was hard enough getting it into the basement and it was an hour drive.

Larry said he could come by some day after work because he lived in my direction (It was still over half an hour away). He went to the house, fixed the machine, and reconnected it.

One hopes that when buying something used, that it will function well. Buying from a place that will make it right, when it doesn't is the right way to do...

In the last -few years I have spent several hundred dollars to this store. Today I went in and told them my cousin had a new table delivered without realizing how much I liked her old table. She sold it to them for $100 dollars. I stopped at the store and explained it to them and offered to buy the table for $200 dollars and was told NO it was for sale for 349 dollars PLUS deliver. I could however buy it for 300 plus delivery. My cousin bought it there , because I took her there, a year ago for $350 plus delivery. They sold her a brand new one today and gave her back $100. and this afternoon they want the same $359. plus delivery. I though doubling their money in 3 hours was fair. They did not. They may be Turner people but they are not small town friendly. They will make their 350 percent profit off someone but it will never be...

Had fairly decent dealing in the past but not impressed with the most recent $1500+ 4 item sale. Two used itesm in the showroom were sleek and clean, but the two delivered were dusty and much more chipped and dented the the showroom items. "Scratch & Dent" stove did not come with the conversion kit though we discussed this at the store I was not told I would need to order it separate. PLUS the burner caps provided were not all the correct size! Overly KNOW your products if you shop here and don't expect helpful customer service. . . sadly they have become just salesmen :( So much for...
