Piggly Wiggly Alberta — Local services in Tuscaloosa

This store is super convenient to my house and always very well stocked stocked, well maintained, and clean, which I love. For the most part, the staff is always very friendly, although there are a couple who are rude sometimes. But that’s not my real issue with this store. My issue is that although the store closes at 9 p.m, I have on several occasions gotten there a few minutes before closing time intending to literally only grab one or two items and have been turned around because staff tells me that they are already closed. The last couple of times I got there at exactly 8:52 and 8:53, only to be told by staff that the store is closed. I’ve worked in retail before and the stores wait until literally closing time to actually close, yet this store continually turns its customers away before actual closing time. 9:00 closing time means exactly that, no more customers in after 9:00. So my question is, does this Piggly Wiggly store close at 9:00 pm,...

The Pig, as I affectionately call it, is quickly becoming my favorite grocery store. The prices are great. There are convenient locations around Tuscaloosa County. The clerks and managers are friendly and helpful, and the produce always looks fresh. Another main reason I love the Pig is their meat selection. I have an affinity for pork chops and have tried several different cuts, all of which have cooked up wonderfully. These stores are clean and well organized and have that small hometown market feel. Not a great selection. Carts have a break system to prevent theft. Went to push a cart from the parking lot inside because it was in a handicap parking space. Break cut on and slammed the cart into my shin. Manager just stared at me and smiled when i told her. Cart was still sitting in the same spot when i left. Go here for convince but I think I'll start going somewhere else if they won't even bother to remove a broken cart that injures...
