Drost's Chocolates — Local services in Tuscarora Township

I've gone into this shop many many times since a young age. I knew the Drosts who owned it first, then the Lindgrens. It was always a pleasant experience and the customer service was amazing.... then today happened. I'm home for the weekend and wanted my first cone of the summer and I come to find out that Brett has sold the shop. I'm very sad and wish him and his family good wishes. When I entered the store a man, who I assume has bougot the shop, stared at me with great evil in his eye. No one said "hello" to me or "how can I help you". I felt so unwelcome.... and to that will be my last entrance into the store for I was not treated like a customer but...

We stopped here on the way home from Mackinac island once and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. This was without a doubt the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my entire life. The s’mores and the bumpy cake flavors were so insanely good. Big pieces of bumpy cake thrown in to the ice cream and same with the s’mores-pieces of marshmallow cream and graham cracker crust. I still dream of it to this day and can’t wait to make...

All these handmade chocolates and truffles and ice cream, are divine. Each one hand dipped as well as hand decorated makes for a unique look that you know only comes from a cholotere who cares. I highly recommend coming here in the summer for a scoop or 2 of the unique flavors, or getting your Christmas, valentine's and Easter chocolate here.
