We spent about an hour and a half here. There was just so many things to do! So much fun! The hay ride is scenic. It's absolutely beautiful and so much fun. There's hills you go up and down, twists and turns, and a short pause for taking pictures. The little barrel train ride was so much fun for my 4 year old. Feeding the animals was an awesome experience. It is not over priced. The staff/owners were so kind! We went last year and will go again next year for sure! Might even go again this year not sure yet only because of our busy schedules. Thank you Ru-Ridge Corn Maze for such a fun and eventful evening and helping us create more amazing memories!

It was okay but not great. No pumpkins to buy. Everything cost money. Never been to a patch that did that. Not much for toddlers. No food or hot chocolate or anything. Just popcorn. Updated: I did not know you could bring your own picnic so do that if you will have hungry kids/people. I must have missed the drinks and candy sign. I guess I thought pumpkin patch and corn maze went together. My mistake. Sorry it was just not great for me, 3 other adults and a 1 yr old. It may be great for a bunch of older kids! We did the maze and were able to push a stroller in it so if you like a corn maze and/or have bigger kids please go support this family.

Fun for the whole family!!! Even grandpa had fun playing games with the older grandson and pulling the baby in the wagon through the corn maze. The hay ride view was spectacular!!! We spent hour's there and the kid's 18, 9, 3 and 4 months were entertained the entire time. So much to do. A must check out event and price was great.

So im specifically reviewing the Haunted Shack here because it doesnt have its own review page, mostly in hopes that they see this and fix the issues. There has been a huge drop in quality the last couple years. Starting with the hayride it is no longer about immersion, story, and the actors having characters and schticks and has become low effort and honestly irritating. There were maybe one or two actors who actually conveyed a creepy act, but besides that almost every single actor the only thing they would do is stand either motionless or in the shadows until you were right next to them and then they just shriek/scream at full volume in the guests face. Is it startling? Yeah i guess, its also earsplitting, obnoxious, and repetitive. This year the hayride and the trail were basicalIy that, and then the shack itself for the 2nd year in a row was either 1) actor screams loud mere inches from your face or 2) actor shouts "GET OUT!" Its boring and repetitive franky. It bums me out too because I used to love the haunted Shack. My son and I each have a few years' styles of merch shirts, we go to every haunt attraction in a 200 mile radius every year and the shack is the only one weve purchsed merch for. it was a great alternative to the haunted ship which had become really lame the last several years, but hell must have frozen over because this year the ship blew the shack out of the water. The hydraulic "elevator room" being broken was a bummer but i get it, things break down, but the real heart of the haunt experience is the immersion of seeing the actors take on varied nightmarish roles and its like no one at the shack is even trying anymore. You can do...
