Went to this facility to have 3 simple labreal tears repaired, the staff nurses were great the surgical nurses not so much they were extremely rude and unprofessional, The doctor started off by marking the wrong arm for the surgery (should have left at that point), then he did a shoulder replacement instead of just a labreal repair. He cut alot inluding the bicep tendon causing it to be permently disabled and now I have to live with limited motion and lots of pain. They had to put in 7 anchors in to hold my shoulder together.
After the surgery there were no doctors anywhere to say how the surgury went,(found out later he was fired) only a very pleasant nurse that was told to not answer any questions and to help me out the door as quickly as possible. Within a couple days my arm was infected, so I called them, to which they stated that the doctor that did the surgery was no longer employed there and I would need to re-establish care with another provider before antibiotics would be provided. Had to be seen at the other local hospital where they extracted the infection, put me on iv antibiotics and made sure to get me into see one of their surgical staff. I was informed by them that all they can do is tell me that there is no way to fully repair the shoulder as there was far to much done wrong and they won't be able to repair most of it.
As expected Aurora took zero responsibility for any of this. They did their own investigation and found they did absolutly nothing wrong. (I know big surprise right) Even though they stated this, a required follow up with their own surgeons stated "Honestly this entire situtation is a mess that's why he was terminated, we will have to try to do another surgery to repair what we can". Since then I was told I will never get full strength or full motion without pain no matter what they do going forward.

Read moreMy daughter brought her 9 year old son into the TR ER at around 9 pm Wednesday night on August 28. He has been running a fever ,coughing now for several days. Now his cough is so bad he is literally puking in a puke bag that’s he is holding in his hand. He coughs when he is sleeping He isn’t keeping any thing down. She stopped at Freidtert HFMC but the receptionist said they were full. They called TR ER and they had openings so we drove over there She doesn’t live in town either Has always refuses to take liquid medication. He literally gags /throws it up. He was born with a cleft palate. He has a lot of mouth problems. I waited outside in the car with her 15 and 3 year old. She came out so upset. The Doctor on call belittled her for bringing him in. He said you brought him in without trying cough syrup? She tried talking to explain that he has acute bronchitis. Pediatrician’s have actually told us cough syrup doesn’t help. He has a albuterol inhaler She was afraid his lungs might fill up. He shushed her and said I am trying to examine him He had no respect once so ever for her. They need to train their doctors about treating people with respect EVEN if this Doctor doesn’t like her or think this an Emergency. He needed to reassure her !! Not belittle her. She said she will never ever step foot in that place ever. No mother should EVER - EVER be made to feel like a bother for bringing her son in to be looked at. We then ran to Wal greens & I sat in the parking lot with him. He was coughing so hard he was puking in his bag while she ran in to try to find cough syrup that he...
Read moreI went in to the emergency room at 2 am last night for cramping in my stomach because I’m pregnant and wanted to make sure my baby was ok. I had been cramping for several hours I got in quick and the doctor came in (male) I explained what was going on and he did an ultra sound for 2 seconds and said the baby’s heart beat looked fine and pressed on my stomach 2 times. I had crampin in 1 spot and he didn’t press on that spot nor looked at that spot with the ultrasound. He said that it was most likely round ligament pain and when I asked him if that much pressure was normal and how to ease the pain he looked me in the face and goes I guess, Ive never had a baby. I was in the room for all of maybe 10 min. He was very short and rude and the appointment gave me no peace of mind. When he came back in he said that I seemed upset and when I tried to explain that I felt that he was rushing and not taking my concerns seriously he said then you can go to your doctor have a good night and walked out. This is my first pregnancy so I don’t know what to expect but I know that after last night I have lost faith in some doctors at auraura and that sucks because I have been seen by good doctors...
