We bring all of our animals here ( 3 cats and 2 dogs- one being a husky). I have never met a business owner who is so involved in caring for animals. Stephanie and Jeremy are so caring. They work with the shelter as well as being involved in their grooming business. They have stayed late, started early, and squeezed us in at a moments notice. They have worked with us on my friend's pet guinea pig and pointed out something I did not notice while caring for the little guys while my friend was out of town. Our dogs are over the top excited to go there and we are happy to bring them there. The first groomer I had ever booked our previous dog at- I walked in to hear her yelling at my dog. We are very pleased to know they are in such good and caring hands . Working in healthcare- it is so hard to find people who are in their job for the profession vs the money. That is one thing working with people and animals- it is never textbook. You can do your best- but nothing is ever 100 percent the same. My husky is a diva :) sweet tempered dog but absolutely hates being brushed. She has never bitten anyone but imagine being new and this dog whipping their head around close to your arm. You don't know the dog so it's fair to assume you would be far more cautious. The last time we were in- our husky was being difficult with the new staff member. Everyone was busy and we didn't look her over. That night we noticed her tail didn't seem brushed out. All we had to do was message them and Stephanie instantly went out of her way to fix the situation. Again- our dog is a diva at times, but not only that- she is like our child. You can't expect perfection when your animals may not behave perfectly. I am just so thankful Stephanie takes such good care of our furbabies that they want to be there and she is helping with the shelter as well as moving her business to another bigger building ( like 5 minutes away from downtown)- she and Jeremy are amazing people. I had a concern and they went out of their way to make it right. New staff takes time to train- they will make mistakes. I am not a groomer so to me as long as the mistakes the newbies make can be corrected and are corrected and the staff is treating our fur babies as lovingly as we do- imho- that is what's important. We would never consider taking our pets...
Read moreI would like to follow up as to the 1 star review today from Mike L. - he picked up his dad's dog after we scheduled a flea bath for them courtesy of the Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 because his dad is a veteran and we are currently working on home repairs for our Veteran and he asked about grooming services.
We appreciate Stephanie getting his dogs right away to give them a flea treatment even though this is service they no longer provide that often because of the extra cleaning and sanitation that is involved once the pets leave their place.
Maybe I didn't explain the service right to our Veteran, but the dogs could not be blow dryed there because other pets could become infested. They definitely do not deserve the 1 star review.
We appreciate all the services they have provided to our organization on behalf of our Veterans and their furbabies that we provide friendship and a Hand Up to in our community. Thank you Lucky Paws!

Read moreLucky paws has been nothing but amazing to my furr babies. I used to have a dog who, when overly stressed, suffered from seizures. He was on medication but it didn't always work (like going to the vet would cause seizures). He was an Australian shepherd with long hair, so he needed grooming. The kindness and patience of the staff/owner now was amazing. He would never come home to a seizure waiting. I now have another longer haired pup that needs grooming. Naturally, I went to Lucky paws. My dog suffers from separation anxiety. We went on vacation for 10 days and we had him boarded at Lucky paws. They kept in contact with me and sent me pictures of him. He was so happy! I trust Lucky paws 100% and won't go to...
