June 30, 2022. The four trees with bare root all dead. I was very sad with the result although I have got a full refund. I will not buy any trees from this store, and I won't recommend it to anyone else. Right now is May 12, 2022, 11:19 pm. TyTY has given me a 50% refund, although that was not the intention of the owner Ryan who defended his ECO-wise delivery method that I never heard before but first heard today when he responded to my email. He didn't want to do anything to make up for me except finding excuses to pass the buck. But after Marlene looked at the pictures, she decided to give me a 50% refund, but not a full refund. She said if the trees were finally dead within one year after I planted them, I would get another 50% refund of store credit. Until now I am still very unhappy with this order and the result of the trees. Even though I got a full refund, I am still unsatisfied with the result of the trees. I have wasted too much time before placing the order, wasted too much time in handling this case, especially because they ruined my night and day because I was very upset and angry after I received the so-called ECO-wise packet last evening. In fact, this is a way of Business-unwise, fruit tree-unfriendly, customer-unfriendly. I understand that TyTy is using the ECO wise way to try to save money from the delivery fees, save the soils and pots. But I don't know how much money TyTy can save by treating the trees so cruelly, so unfriendly, and losing his customers' trust and loyalty. The result is really a disaster for the trees, for customers, and for TyTY's business, never anything wise. This evening, I could only transplant two trees: blueberry and pomegranate. Because no soil stuck to the roots, the trees could not stand up, which made it very difficult to put the trees into the holes. For in case another two trees are completely dead, I have to put the roots into a bag after I put manure mixing with soil and water to keep them alive (I hope). I don't know what final results I will get after I spent/d so much effort to transplant these trees. I can say all the disaster is caused by the ECO-wise delivery method. The owner probably never counts how much money he has wasted but not saved owing to this bad delivery method. At least for residential planting, this method is unfriendly. To encourage the Owner of TyTY to improve his service quality to customers, I decided to change the Star from one to two. Today is May 11, 2022, the order was shipped to my house in the afternoon (I placed the order on May 6, 2022). When I opened the packet, a surprising and sad thing showed in my eyes. The leaves wilted and were drying out. When I opened the root wrap, only some small ice cubes were around the roots which had been cut, no soil wrapped them (originally I thought it should be like Fast-Growing Tree company, sent us the trees with pots--Fast Growing Tree sent me three trees with three big and solid boxes, but TyTy wrapped four three with a narrow box). Blueberry tree is so small, and is dying, that it costs $29.75 (got 15% off). The fertilizer is so small, it costs $4.95 (the picture of this 0.5 oz fertilizer is misleading to us, it looks like at least 1 pound from the picture, I didn't even look at the weight, otherwise I would not pay for it. I definitely will return these four small bags). The shipping is too bad, the prices of fruit trees are too expensive, the way of treating fruit trees is too cruel. Before 4:37pm(eastern time), I called the customer service many times, but no one answered the phones until 5 pm. The recording voice said the business was closed. I already wrote emails to TyTy to request a full refund. If they don't give me a full refund, I will make complaints to BBB and the Attorney General of Ohio to get the full refund. Before I placed the order, I should have looked up the website to see what the reviews were to TyTY. This is a bad, no reputation nursery company. Please...

Receipt #0000-000
REFUNDED $82.30 DATE ISSUED Jun 9, 2025, 7:21:46 PM While I am greatful and happy I wished that I had my peach tree with some fruit on it almost 2 yrs later. I do know that the representatives on the phone are limited helping us and making the final determination as to how to hande each case, and I am glad the owners/managers read the reviews and make things right! Good luck to everyone consumer and Ty Ty.
By By, Ty Ty 6/9/25 I just called them back to follow-up with the "no hassle guarantee" after the second peach tree replacement that received December 2024 did NOT survived. Been sending pictures and proof of the tree is dead hence March 2025, filled all my paper work and I am told that “you do not get another replacement tree if the replaced tree did NOT survived!” Outrageous I paid for a peach tree and two years later I have no tree and I am out $110 I can’t possibly endorse or recommend this company, while it seemed to try and make things right there are interested selling making more money and not stand behind their product. Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply offer same trees cheaper in a large pot with “true” no hassle replacement. Please read (down below) the hassle that been through the last 2 years
6/11/24 Awesome, will buy again and again, these folks have the knowledge to sustain the tree to ship it safely. Update 10/9/24 This 8 ft little tree within 3-4 weeks after got most of it leaves, even after being watered daily and with a screen 50% sun screen started dropping all of it's leaves with the end of it's small branches dryied to a crisp. I called TyTy and I was told "no worry, this little tree if it dies will be replaced under it's 365 days warranty. Called them today and ask when would be a good time of the year to replant a replacement peach tree? she told me to "go and check and see if the three is alive", by scrapping with my nail on the main trunk, green alive - brown dead. As you can see the 1.5" trunk is brown under the bark aka DEAD. Send TyTy the picture and I was told they will email me with their "decision and credit would be apply into my account". Great, I thought. Couple hours later I received a email informing me of a $55.00 credit but the replacement cost for the tree is $109.75 same price 4 months ago. NOT HAPPY to be continue tomorrow... TyTy customer service explained to me how this works and I understand better now. 1.You will be credited the price that you paid for. If the tree was $110 and they sold it to you at 50% off then your credit is $55 even thos it will cost you $110 to replace it. No credit on Shipping or sales tax. I get it, I am fine with all this: I re-order my tree with an additional purchase. Keep up the good...
Read moreUpdate #2: I have received my replacement trees, they are in much better condition compared to what I was originally sent. There were plenty of roots, and the plants were clearly not heat stressed or beaten up from the transport. Upon receiving these I wish I had requested all 4 be replaced. I do appreciate the quick reply from the owner. All trees have been planted and I will update in a few weeks on the condition of the first two trees to be planted along with these two. I have updated my star rating to reflect the quick reaction time and response.
Update: I recieved a call from Kayla and she was very friendly and informed me that I will be getting two replacement trees shipped out to me. I appreciate the quick response to the review by the owner and will update my review further upon reciept of the trees. I have increased my rating based upon this customer service interaction and will contine to update review as it unfolds.
Original Review: I typically do not write reviews, however my recent experience has motivated me to do so.
I just received my trees, and there were a few issues with them. The box they were shipped in appeared to have been dropped as it was damaged when delivered. See Picture.
The result of this cause nearly all of the roots of the olive tree to be damaged there are barely any left on the tree, there is just a small chunk at the bottom of it. The olive tree also has a very sharp bend at the rootstock as well so it apparently fell over while growing and was then bent up and staked to grow straight again. This can be noted in the picture.
The Apricot tree also is beat up with dead sections (last 6-8" of each branch) and scarred in sections from the bark coming off of it. There also are no leaves or buds at all on the tree. It essentially looks like a dead stick. See Picture.
I wrote an email to report these issues, and then called the nursery directly in order to see about getting some replacement trees. I have grown up around the landscape industry and my mother is a landscape architect so I know what good trees look like. For the over $500 I paid for the trees I was not satisfied with what I recieved.
I was told by the customer service rep that the trees looked fine and if they died I could apply for a store credit. That is not exactly the response I was hoping to get. I was a little hesitant about ordering these trees sight unseen, but the good reviews pushed me to complete my order. Had I seen the trees beforehand I would not have made this purchase.
I have planted the trees and hope they grow, but I will not be spending my money with Ty Ty...
