Sandra Rose — Local services in Tyndall

I went here a few months ago because I had an appointment just to be measured for a bridesmaid dress. The lady up front told me she'd be right with me and then a large group of women entered right behind me. She asked them if they had an appointment and they said no, and she proceeded to assist them with randomly choosing dresses. I waited a few more minutes and she was deeply involved with this large group who had no appointment. Another lady came up to me and said "It's gonna be a long wait...as you can see, a large group just came in...can you come back later?" I told her I had an appointment and only needed measurements, and that I was from out of town, was limited on available days, and had my mom and disabled sister waiting for me in the car since I was told it would be like a 2 minute appointment. I told the lady I'd come back in a little bit and she said they'd measure me when I came back. When I returned like half an hour later, no customers were waiting up front and two staff saw me and stated they were quite busy assisting many, many other customers, and that even though I had an appointment, I would have to come back another time. I left and emailed them measurements. They messaged me back and stated they got my message, and I literally have heard nothing else from them. For my friends sake, I hope they actually ordered the dresses, but I'm not holding my breath. Her wedding is in a few months and I feel like we should be trying them on to see if alterations are necessary, yet there is no feedback. I just got engaged myself, and at least I know there is one place I will not be shopping for my wedding/bridesmaid gowns. update turns out they never actually ordered my dress. The bride asked me if they'd contacted me, and they hadnt. They ended up telling her that had no record of me, my name, or my measurements. They told her they'd get ahold of me asap...and two months later she asked me if they had contacted me but they...

I absolutely loved this store and the ladies in it! My sister purchased her wedding dress from this store years ago. I was driving across the state and grabbed a finger nail file to fix a fingernail that was snagging my shirt. On the back was the previous name of the store. I knew then and there that is was a sign that I needed to go to this store to find my mother of the bride dress! I was able to find a dress after trying on so many dresses. Sandy was so very helpful and patient with me! When she brought me the dress which I ended up purchasing, she said " I think you are going to like this one!" She was absolutely spot on! It fit perfectly-I don't need any alterations, except maybe if I want to make a small tuck in the shoulder straps. The ladies in the alteration area were the best, too! If you are looking for a dress for your special occasion, I would highly suggest that you make a trip to Tyndall, South Dakota and stop at the Sandra Rose store! Pretty swell place. The new building makes this place a true economic pillar in Tyndall. I personally have been in this place 3 times now. The owner lady has always been such a good person that is liked by everyone. People from all over come to this place for a reason. Employee Nicole Kaul is a huge asset to this business.
