Say good-bye to Napa Valley! Hello, Anderson Valley! Napa Valley is filled with tourists and it’s a Disneyland now. They even have a castle!! If you love Pinot Noir or Alsatian wine, I highly recommend you visit this valley and try its tasting rooms. They produce excellent wine here. I usually stay in the valley for a week to enjoy Anderson Valley. The best part is to meet wine-loving hard working people and feel their passion toward grape growing or wine making. People in the valley are very nice people. And I love them all. I like to visit the valley late fall before the raining season starts because it is more quiet and grape leaves are very colorful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful scenery and great wine! I didn't visit a single winery that I didn't like. Most places will do free wine tasting and the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. It's such a great part of California and a great experience. Maybe the best part is that it's much less crowded and over-hyped than Napa or Sonoma. Worth the drive to visit this place...

Nice place. It's a serious hike from Napa but the drive is pretty scenic. They have a very interesting farming method and worth a look. The wine conniseur in the family was only so-so...
