I call to get help with my rent before we get evicted bc everything we been going through. I only ask when we really need help yes I gotten help I think twice before but I don't go in every month like alot of people do. My last time getting help was I think a year go. Anyways we been through alot of trials this year that no one would want to go through actually the past two years. I have had two kids pass away do to medical issues, my mom has ms, copd, heart disease and some other health issue, I have crowns and colitis and im full of infection. I called to see if we can't get help with anything it doesn't even matter how much as long as it something. The lady told me if I can pay 750 then she will match it so I came up with the money and paid it i called back and I told her I paid 750 she said let her see what she can do and she will call me back and never did i called her back 5 days afterward to find out she can't help us. I just wish I knew that before I told the owner that they was going to pay the 750 as I was told. I just don't understand how people can get help all the time but we ask everyone in a while and most of the time we are turned down. Great prices and if you need help paying your electric or any other utility bill they can help. I became disabled in 2019 and they helped me on my electric bill. When I went back recently I donated 40 dollars just for them helping me. Everytime I go back I intend to donate 40 dollars. If you can afford it donate to them. Who knows I may need there Helping Hands...
