Olivers Butcher Shop — Local services in Union City

Took my father here since he won a voucher for some meat.

The sales rep we spoke with, she was super cool, easy to talk to, and very helpful. We came at a good time since she had some extra items on the inventory list.

The lists had a great variety of meats to pick; from beef, chicken, pork, and other different types.

As a side note, I love that she told us she raises her own cows for the beef...(I'm assuming she does for the other meats or has local sources for them).

Everything is sealed to perfection and is great quality unlike grocery stores. But I'm not an expert on that. We were able to purchase a good amount of cuts for his voucher. I'm looking forward to the summer sausage, which judging by the looks of it, worth every penny.

My only issue is that it's a drive. If only the shop was closer towards town, maybe...

My purchases have always been top of the line. I like the fact that I can call in an order me thinking it may take a week and receive a call the next day that my order is ready for pick up. I have never been disappointed with the quality of my order. Nice to have hamburger that has a great flavor, no tough pieces, and actually cooks up small and easy to break down. Never really tried a local butcher but when meat became scarce at our normal place we turned to Oliver's. Had their marinated pork chops and they blew my mind. Full of flavor and nice and thick.
