3/31/20:. I just wanted to do an update on my very first visit to this butcher. Loved everything I bought. With one exception. My father and I had the Slovenian kielbasa. That is not authentic Slovenian kielbasa. So if you are going there to have authentic Slovenian kielbasa, you will be disappointed!! My father is Slovenian and grew up on Slovenian kielbasa. I have to continue my search to find somewhere that actually sells authentic Slovenian kielbasa, because for some reason nobody knows how to make it. there are plenty of recipes out there, but for some reason no one goes by the recipe . I am sold on this place. I live in Carnegie PA. It's a heck of a drive. I was visiting my daughter not far from there and decided to drive out and check it out. The prices are amazing. I just cooked my 1 lb Delmonico. Best steak I've ever had. You guys were right. I will be back time and time again. I will take the 40-minute drive. A big bag of soup bones for four bucks. They had Slovenian kielbasa. I'm Slovenian. Cheplic's Meat Processing is my favorite butcher shop. Here you get first class service from small orders to large ones. Everyone that works there is very knowledgeable and can answer any of your questions. My all time favorite is the Hot Pepper Cheese Kielbasa. This is an absolute must try and they also have the best beef jerky. They even have awesome broasted chicken and potatoes. The chicken is only available on Friday and Saturday. The price is extremely reasonable on everything they have. It's definitely worth the trip and the wait, because this place is always busy. If you need a big order, I suggest that you call on Wednesday or Thursday, this way you don't have to wait in line. Top quality meats and professional, courteous service set them apart...

This is a true gem of a find. I knew about this place over 10 years ago from my co worker at Sarris Candy's in Canonsburg. But only started going last year. Today I had the pleasure to meet the owner. What a down to Earth person still helping customers and giving everyone the personal touch. Thank you so much for all your help and good deals on meat and your fried chicken smelled so good I had to try it. I will be a life long loyal customer. I also bought a t-shirt that I will wear proudly.
