Esh Appliances — Local services in Union Township

Very dissatisfied with Esh's. Our first issue was the technician showing up unannounced 3 days before we had scheduled our appointment. He was not only 3 days early but our stove immediately continued having the same problems that he had attempted to fix during his repair. Trying to re-schedule a follow up appointment, since the first visit was unsuccessful, was extremely difficult. They could not give us any visibility to the time they would arrive or schedule any further than a day or two in advance. After an unnecessarily long discussion, I was finally able to have them commit to giving us the first appointment of the day in 1 week. We were expecting them at 8AM and by 9:30AM, my wife decided to take a quick shower and just missed the technician. We called them back within 10 minutes to ask them to return to the house and explained that my wife was home and had just missed them but were told that they could not come back and had to move on to the next appointment. A week later I received a $53 bill for the missed appointment. I called Esh's to dispute the bill and after a heated argument was told that I would be taken to the District Magistrate (and required to pay an additional $40) if I did not pay the $53 missed appointment fee. Admittedly, I was not exactly pleasant during this phone call but I had grown very frustrated with Esh's by this point.

On the bright side, I have since had another contractor look at our stove and he was able to diagnose and fix our issue in less than 15 minutes. The stove has been working...

I wouldn't even rate this service with one star but it won't post if you don't click on at least one star. These people, if that's what you want to call them are horrible. My neighbor is 80 years old. Her 7 month old refrigerator quit working. When she called LOWES they gave her the number for Esh's who LOWES said has a contract with Whirlpool to fix their refrigerators. She called and they made an appoint for this afternoon (1/11/24). The repairman called too, yesterday and told her he would be at her house in the afternoon the next day. We waited all afternoon. He never showed up and no one ever called her. Who does business like that. When she called Esh's the repairman said he doesn't fix the refrigerator she has. WHAT??? These people should not be in business to torment a poor 80 year old widow. Who does that!!! Horrible people. Don't buy at LOWES and don't ever use Esh's appliance repair.

Your answer is just passing the buck. Someone from your company called her the day before they were supposed to come to her home to, “confirm the appointment.” Said they would be there in the late afternoon. If Whirlpool had called her why would they say, “I will be there late afternoon.” You know you called her and you are lying and passing the buck. After reading your other terrible reviews I see a pattern of behavior and you are not a good person and your company is an embarrassment to your family. ...

Called this business last week, and spoke with a gentleman who was very polite, about a washer and dryer. We were to receive a phone call a couple of days later, and never did. So, I decided to stop in today to see what they had available for purchase. When driving past and walking into the business, there was a washer and dryer sitting in the store front, washer had a price tag on it as well. When I entered, the lady that came out of the office area acted as if we were bothering her. When she asked if she could help us, I stated we were there looking for a used washer and dryer. Apparently, this was the wrong thing to say because she became rude instantly, said everything they had was sold and they didn't have any washers or dryers there available. I stated that I had called last week and hadn't heard back. She very rudely said, that the washer sitting inside the store (not the one in the window) was already sold. Because of her rudeness, I told her that it was ok and that I would go to another place that's located about 15 miles up the road, and her response was ok. I won't recommend this place to anyone. It would have been a different story had there been 10 people in there and or the phone ringing like crazy but it...
