Lucas Farms — Local services in Union Township

We come to this store pretty often and really enjoy it and we live very close. Tonight we thought we would skip the hassle of dinner and order subs from your store in shickshinny. I ordered 1 Italian sub, 1 veg sub with cheese and veggies and then the 3rd was also veggies with cheese. Husband goes to pick them up and brings them home. The Italian had nothing on it but meat and cheese (although the menu shows everything it comes with) which could of been either of our faults- I was not asked but assuming it came- also did not mention the veggies. So I call the store to let them know and asked if it could be remade. Before leaving my husband said to me "oh great the lady was already miserable". So he gets there and when he walks in she starts questioning him what was wrong - EVEN THOUGH I JUST CALLED. & then went on how she made it how I ordered it. My husband was so annoyed he went to walk out before she started yelling "the new one is made". The other young guy working there, was very nice and understanding (as it should have been considering it's a $6 dollar hoagie 🙄) You work at a farmers market. If people and serving them isn't your thing, get a new job. Again, the young guy working was so very kind. She was very rude and honestly caused chaos for no reason. Maybe the menu I got over the summer needs to be updated. Hopefully the older, short haired woman who was working at the Shickshinny shop Tuesday Oct 7th around 6 finds the job she likes, because Lucas' farm market isn't it for her!!

My husband was the middle man, I called & he picked the order up. The guy took the call, the lady made the order. The fact my husband already knew she was going to be miserable about it, sounds like you need to do better...

Great people healthy selections people who treat you like you wanted to be treated and think that they do not think that they're any better than anybody else they are like family too bad there wasn't more...

Ordered an Italian hoagie and it was delicious! The bun was fresh and the meat and cheese was very tasty. I will definitely go there again. Oh and the price...
