Terrace Mountain Alpacas LLC — Local services in Union Township

My adult sibling and I went for their National Alpaca Farm Day open house and had a great time! They had about 30 alpacas in enclosures you could walk around. The alpaca farmers were very welcoming. The man who I assume is the alpaca master picked up a baby (6 weeks old awwww) for us to pet, and asked if we had questions, told us all the alpaca's names, etc. There is a small store also. They sell skeins of wool from their own alpacas, so you can thank the lovely guy or gal who helped create your scarf, and also socks, hats, etc made from Peruvian and American alpaca wool. This was one of those days where we asked ourselves “what fun thing can we do with a 5 year old”? Then, as we were eating an ice-cream cone a complete stranger overheard us and suggested a visit to the Alpaca farm. So why not?! Wow! what a fantastic day we had. The owner took so much is his time with us to answer all of our questions. He was the nicest person as well as his lovely wife. Their little shop was filled with wonderful finds.
