Dollar General — Local services in Union

Overall, the store is very clean and in a great location, however, there has been three employees who have proven to be dishonest and lie to customers, as a result, two of them no longer work at Dollar General. I just left the store and had the exact same problem with another employee who also was dishonest and I had told her that I had spoke with her geberal manager, but I'm assuming that she thought I was lying, however I was being 100% honest call Mom unlike herself .But her GM will be contacting her to address this issue just as he did the last two employees She also got an attitude with me and was very disrespectful. When you work with the public you cannot talk to customers in this manner. July 31st, 2021, up until now I've had nothing but good experiences with this store. Tonight I show up at 9:53 for a quick purchase and was told the store shuts down at 9:53. Sternly and a quick turn around to help a customer get ice and then walk back in and lock the door. Customer courtesy is not attitude and customer care isnt a nose in the air. Also, Dollar General stores have a closing time posted 10:pm.

I'm updating my review because Dollar General here in Lockhart is a favorite of mine now because of Great customer service, Clean store and the sweetest people. Different management and employees in the past year have really made an amazing difference in my review. Thank you for making my dreaded shopping trips much more bearable. These guys were slow to get onboard with mask wearing, as I recall, and ended up having to shut down because of a Covid outbreak. Consequently, me and my family stayed away for a good long while. Today was our first time back there in months. Both staff members present had on masks. Some lessons are hard learned. But I get the feeling it's safe now. Although, in this neck of the woods, you will have a lot of non mask wearers, and aside from the signage on the door front... No one's gonna make...
