Glengarry Golf Links — Local services in Unity Township

The course designed as a Links course as seen in Scotland /Ireland , it is a moderately hilly course that is wide open , the front 9 starts out with a par 5 with a medium sized green , the 2nd hole , a par 3 is what I believe is a hardest hole , from the men's tee plays about 225 yards downhill to a medium sized green , from there the front 9 continues with a mixture of short and moderate length par 4 's & medium & 1 short par 3 , the back 9 holes is started with a short par 4 followed by a medium length par 5 , the rest of this back 9 is a mixture of short par 4's & a long par 4 & there are 2 short to moderate length par 3's and the back 9 ends with moderate length par 5 which goes downhill the last 200 yards and ends with a small green which is guarded by a pond that covers most of the green front ,I believe the course drains water quite well & you rarely see puddles or standing water , the course is well maintained & mowers can be seen cutting both fairways & the rough daily & losing your golf ball is hard to do , the green surfaces are bent grass & are regularly cut to a moderate speed & are well maintained , so overall Glengarry plays short distance wise however the course offers a good challenge and is fun to play because there is ample room to hit the ball without losing it & it offers plenty of opportunities to hit good shots and on most days even during the busiest days a player can play 18 holes in about 4 hours or less & last but not least there is a pro shop with a very good selection of pro line clubs and golf apparel that is opperated by a PGA professional and there is kitchen which offers a wide variety of food choices & a variety of soft and alcoholic beverages to indulge during the round or for the 19th hole when the round is finished , I hope this review helps golfers who have not played...

Glengarry Golf Links is one of the very best Golf facilities in the area...The Golf Course layout will challenge every level of player and is "Always" in excellent condition!!! The driving range has "real" grass tees with easy to view yardage markers and a putting green that are all easily accessible to one another...the Pro Shop is one of, if not the best in the area with all the latest equipment and the Golf Pros on staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about all the newest equipment, footwear and clothing...they have a Bar and Restaurant with a Barn style clubhouse that is just fantastic...you gotta check out Glengarry Golf Links...you won't be...

Never been golfing here but a lot of interaction with Mr. Jamie Costic, the pro here. Can’t say enough good things about the dude and all the good deals he’s been able to provide to the golfing community when it comes to gear and pro shop offerings. Mostly online, JC has always been competitively if not the best price across the board on anything golf. I’ve bought from him several times over and everything is always top notch and exactly as he says it will be. Have gotten several clubs from him and they’ve each come directly from the manufacturer unless he has it in stock. Will continue to inquire with Jamie first on all my golf needs,...
