This family friendly Folk Festival is ONCE a year for two days - the second Saturday in August and the day before. It is a small, well organized outdoor festival. Keep in mind the weather and possible muddy conditions for both parking and walking. Pennsylvanians love their food and this place doles out plenty of samples of heritage PA German foods. Food prices and admission are very reasonable. There are plenty of hands on demonstrations and questions are gladly answered. They showcase how PA Germans lived in the 18th and 19th centuries.
